Received my new VermiBag Max yesterday. Built my wood stand, and moved two bins of European Nightcrawlers (Probably about 2k or so) into the Max. It took all of that and still has tons of room. The craftsmanship of the Max is top notch, and I have no doubt that it will last for many years to come. This system is a very good design, and even better product than I expected. Looking forward to my first harvest!

I’ve had this system running now for 4 months and I finally did my first harvest…I was pretty skeptical of the Zippered bottom, as I also have an UWB and have had issues with the zipper., but to my amazement and delight the harvest went very smoothly without any issues at all. The zipper was simple to open and close. I couldn’t be happier with the system. It is made from what seems like super high quality fabric and the workmanship is top notch. I would highly recommend this system to anyone wanting a top quality system. It took me less than 10 min from start to finish when I harvested.

Wow!!!! I love the Mini so much I had to order the max. I am not affiliated with Tom at Vermibags at all, this is my honest review of the Vermibag Max. Please go to reviews to read my review on the Mini bag. Let me start off by saying that this bag is made in America unlike the Urban Worm Bag which is made overseas. The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding with all of Tom’s Vermibags. In my opinion they are by far the best bag on the market today. Each bag is hand made to the quality is outstanding . I have a Mini and a Max in Coyote brown color. The zippers slide like butter. I also upgraded to the zippered ventilation top to hold in more moisture since we have low humidity in our house. If your a beginner or experienced Vermi composter or a fisherman they are very easy to manage. You don’t really have to worry about any moisture issues as the vermibags have so much air flow thru the system. They reallyself regulate them selfs. Vermibags are a little on the expensive side but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Since I have added European nightcrawlers to this bag they stoped trying to escape unlike the way they did in the Worm Inn Mega. Since I got the mini first I can not wait to do my first harvest. You can’t go wrong with these bags. I have both of my bags on a pvc stand in my house. Tom has the directions on his website on how to make them. They are very easy to assemble and they look great! I can go on and on about Vermibags they are awesome!!! Thanks Tom for the opportunity to own a Vermibag Mini and Max.

Remarkable craftsmanship on the bag I received. You can tell he takes pride in his work and it shows! Definitely not a China made bag! I would recommend spending the extra money and buy one of the vermi bags from him. The product he is putting out has been made with heavy duty fabric and stitching. The zippers seem to be of high quality material as well. Go check him out and leave the knockoffs alone you will not be disappointed, I know I’m not.

I’ve had the VermiBag Max for about 4 months and am completely satisfied with its performance. Even though I have done some dumb things, the Max has been very forgiving and easy to keep a stable environment. I had to poke some small holes in the bottom cone to get the leachate out after one of my dumb moments but that wasn’t a big deal even though I might have killed the entire system in a plastic tray system. It has been surprising how much food scraps the Max will hold. My guess is that I could go 2 years before I had to harvest castings. It’s about 12″ deep now and keeps getting wider – I still haven’t made it up to the window yet. I am very happy I got the zippered ventilation lid to help dry things out when I went pumpkin crazy. This bag is all I could ask for and you can tell by the construction details that the person making the bag cares about it.

I’ve had my VermiBag max for a few months now and LOVE IT. Such a well made system with incredibly well thought out instructions for building the frame. I had used the UrbanWorm bag for about a year and had a ton of issues with the zipper getting clogged, and the frame warping under the weight. The VermiBag max was such a huge upgrade for a reasonable price. My worms are thriving, and maintenance and harvesting is incredibly easy. Would recommend as the go-to vermi-composting system.

The Vermibag Max is the “Tesla” of vermicomposting systems. I had a stacking vermicomposting system for two years and had numerous problems – worms running away, system drying out or too wet, flies, foul smells, and lots of mold. I did a lot of research on vermicomposting systems and finally decided to buy a Vermibag, and I am really glad I did! I’ve had it for half a year now and have never seen such a HUGE worm population in my vermicomposting system.

We throw all of our vegetable and fruit scraps in the Vermibag Max (with the exception of orange and lemon rinds, and hot pepper scraps). We are a vegetarian household, so that is a LOT of vegetable and fruit scraps. I no long have the problems I had with my other system. The bag is fully enclosed, meaning there is no way worms can escape, or flies can go in. We are converting our vermicomposting stand into a kitchen island. It’s just magical how food scraps go in, and incredible fertilizer comes out!
